The American Liver Foundation considers Dr. Rohit Loomba an enthusiastic, collaborative partner as he serves on the National Board of Directors and the non-profit local Speakers Bureau promoting prevention and care. Combined Health Agencies is a federation of 24 local health charities which has been United Way's health partner in the United Way/CHAD Campaign since 1974.

As Chair of the American Liver Foundation (ALF) Board of Directors (BOD), it is my special privilege to tell you that you were elected as a member of the 2012 Board of Directors during last Saturday’s Annual Meeting of the Delegate Assembly. These are very exciting times for the American Liver Foundation as we work together to advance our mission to facilitate, advocate, and promote education, support, and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. In order to ensure our success, we continue to engage the best and brightest volunteer and staff leadership available. We are delighted to have you join our team.
To ensure that you have a full understanding of our organization as well as the specific responsibilities for individual Board and Committee members, we are in the process of planning an orientation program for all newly elected Board members. This Board Orientation will be conducted in early January via conference call/webinar. More details will be available soon.
