Advanced Endoscopy Preceptorship

This is a 12-month preceptor training program which includes training in EUS, ERCP, double balloon endoscopy, balloon thermal ablation of Barrett's, and cholangioscopy. There will be exposure to minimally invasive surgical procedures and clinical research is expected. The position is partially funded by clinical general GI work by the preceptor. A requirement for the program is that applicants must be able to obtain a California medical license before the start of their training.

Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease Preceptorship

This is a 12-month postgraduate training program in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. To be eligible to apply to our program, applicants must have graduate from a three-year ACGME accredited gastroenterology training program, be board eligible or board certified in gastroenterology and obtain a California medical license. Candidates will be selected to interview based on their application, CV, letters of recommendations, academic achievements, clinical evaluations, and career goals.

Advanced Esophageal Preceptorship

This is a 12-month preceptor training program which includes training in Esophageal Diseases with exposure to management of achalasia & esophageal motility disorders, eosinophilic esophagitis, Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal reflux syndromes, and post-surgical symptoms as well as training in functional lumen imaging probe (FLIP), endoscopic dilations, and interpretation of high-resolution manometry and ambulatory reflux monitoring.
